PLATELET-RICH PLASMA (PRP)   SKILLS & SAFETY CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy or Blood-spinning has a great application in the field of modern medicine and renders solution to diverse medical problems including musculoskeletal problems, tissue, ligaments and muscle healing, chronic tendon issues, partial tears in tendons, osteoarthritis, oral and dental surgery, cosmetic and anti aging therapy. The outcome of the PRP therapy is very positive and encouraging. The popularity of PRP treatments among patients for aesthetic purposes and treatment of musculoskeletal and sport injuries has exploded in recent years as patients are now realizing the long-term and permanent benefits of this procedure.

 

PRP program at Springfield College is aimed to dispense knowledge of the procedure and skills basic to establish PRP procedures, practice and related steps involved in medical settings, using proper techniques and universal precautions, a significant tool for medical office team members. Students participate and perform simulation hands-on procedures.

 

PROGRAM DURATION: 

A. BASIC PROGRAM (Online) - Equal to 15-20 hrs  

B. INTERMEDIATE PROGRAM (Online) - Equal to 25-30 hrs

C. ADVANCED PROGRAM (Online / Blended) Including Advanced Phlebotomy & Venipuncture procedures & simulation Practicals - Equal to 45-60 hrs
